About Carla
Chief Financial Officer
Carla has more than 25 years of experience across finance, technology, human resources, operations, and business transformation. Prior to joining ThriftBooks, she had a 25 year career spanning multiple Fortune 100 companies including Amazon, Starbucks, and T-Mobile. Most recently she founded FinUp Partners, a C-suite collaborative providing strategic and financial advisory services. She has a strong track record of building high performing teams, driving operational excellence, and helping businesses scale and grow. She currently serves on multiple University Boards, and has served on multiple not-for-profit boards in the past.
When she's not at ThriftBooks, Carla is a diehard sports fan and long suffering Mariners fan. She enjoys gardening, reading books, and traveling with her family, always looking forward to the next place to explore, the next book to read, or, hopefully, the next Mariners win.
