About Carla
Chief Financial Officer
Carla has more than 25 years of experience in finance, technology, human resources, operations, and business transformation. Prior to joining ThriftBooks, she served as CFO of Sono Bello and spent more than 11 years at Amazon. She is also the founder of FinUp Partners, a C-suite collaborative providing strategic and financial advisory services. Earlier in her career, Carla held leadership positions at Starbucks and T-Mobile. She has a strong track record of building high performing teams, driving operational excellence, and helping businesses scale and grow.
When she's not at ThriftBooks, Carla is a diehard sports fan and long suffering Mariners fan. She enjoys gardening, reading books, and traveling with her family, always looking forward to the next place to explore, the next book to read, or, hopefully, the next Mariners win.
